Welcome to the Core Advantage Internship

Congratulations [mepr-account-info field=”first_name”], you have been successful in your application for the Core Advantage internship.

Before beginning in the gym you need to make yourself familiar with some of our key in gym training and cultural principles. You are expected to complete all the videos in this induction course prior to coming into the gym for the intensive. Take your time working through the content, take notes, practice the movements, you will be assessed on how well you retain this information when you start with us.

The Intensive

Unit 1: Track Time Workshop

In this workshop work through the fundamentals of great movement skill, running, cutting, jumping and landing. You will need to be able to determine good from bad movement skill, execute accurate demonstrations and help athletes improve their own movement quality

Unit 2: Strength Training Workshop

In this workshop learn the coaching cues, key points for quality and common interventions for improving movement quality. You will need to be able to determine good from bad lifting technique, execute accurate demonstrations and notice common lifting technique flaws.
